Education & Background

Bonarch Draft reflects the diverse, world-class talent that defines Toronto. Many of our drafters were educated in Canada at institutions like the University of Waterloo, Toronto Metropolitan University, and George Brown College. Others have studied at respected international schools such as Universidad Nacional de Colombia, the University of Tehran, and Cairo University, bringing global insight to our local work.

OUR STORY

Bonarch was founded to redefine architectural drafting by giving architects and builders more time to focus on creativity and practicality.
In 2023, we identified a major issue in Ontario’s architecture industry: too much time was spent on drafting, limiting the design process and slowing project timelines. Recognizing similar challenges and opportunities in the Middle East, we expanded our operations to Dubai, bringing the same high standards and efficiency to the UAE market.
At Bonarch, our two-shift scheduled workforce is well-versed in Ontario Building Code, the National Building Code of Canada, and relevant UAE building standards, ensuring every drafting package meets regional compliance requirements. Our team is composed of OAA Interns, AIA Associates, and senior technologists with over a decade of experience across Canadian and Dubai jurisdictions.

Bonarch envisions a future where architectural firms, regardless of size or location, can scale efficiently, meet deadlines confidently, and uphold the highest standards in construction documentation through a reliable, communicative, and expert drafting partner.

We worked with Bonarch on a mid-rise project that was getting stuck on code details. Joseph helped us sort things out quickly and made sure the drawings were ready for permit. He also caught a few coordination gaps between our mechanical and structural sets that could’ve delayed submission. It saved us a lot of time, and the whole process felt easy, organized, and professional from start to finish.

I usually handle custom homes and was running behind on a few drawings. Joseph and his team stepped in, organized everything, and even explained a few code sections I wasn’t sure about. Everything came back clean, accurate, and faster than expected.

We brought Bonarch in for a commercial interior project, and they made things smoother. Communication was clear, the files were on time, and they caught a few code issues early, which saved us from delays.
